Abstract   |   Authors   |   References
The paper substantiates the need to adjust the existing technique of determining the rating of regions by the degree of implementation of public-private partnership mechanisms. The article emphasizes the relevance of implementation of projects on the basis of public-private partnership in terms of increasing sustainable socio-economic development of the regions. The goal of this work is to analyze the current technique that helps define the rating of regions by level of development of public-private partnership, and to substantiate the conclusions that prove that the rating does not properly reflect the measures that assess qualitative features of implementation of projects based on public-private partnership. In the course of the work, the authors used general (comparison and analogy, analysis and synthesis) and specific (mathematical modeling) research methods. The result of the work is the justification of the need to introduce indicators that reflect the budgetary, social and economic efficiency of public-private partnership projects in the region. The results obtained can be used by the public authorities of the region in terms of improving the mechanisms for stimulating the development of projects on the basis of public-private partnership, as well as by specialists studying this problem. It is noted that making the rating according to the proposed methodology will reflect the real picture of the use of public-private partnership mechanisms in the region, and the calculation of new rating indicators will help, on the one hand, to take into account the constraints in the work of public authorities at the regional level in stimulating the development of public-private partnership, and on the other hand – to show the effects achieved in ensuring socio-economic development in the region
